Runs sc2 and contact of duty blackops advantageous. Very nice specs. Good image. Good keyboard, though I don't just like the directional pad. Runs very cool while now not gaming, while gaming it will get hot at the vent however no lengthyerhing too unhealthy. The worst phase about the pc is the touchpad, why are they making them huge , off middle and with one single button????? Also I've tried tweaking the settings on the touchpad but when you have like your palm or simply the rest but your tip of your finger on it, it will now not transfer proper. I use a bluetooth mouse cause I can't stand it. Also there is handiest one usb on the left aspect, all of the different are on the precise side, which sucks for mouse users.

Intially I used to be planning to buy any different Acer with nvidia GT330M(GT four20M is fairly similar in performance )which was a hundred buck much less with same config.

Why I prefer to take this one ?
- OPTIMUS, this expertise is awesome , battery confirmed me around four-5hrs
- GT420M , because of this DX11 :) (Its a CLASS 2 GFX)
- Dolby digital
- Extra HDD and RAM

BUT:-
I can easily really feel hot air(mild) coming from vent inside 3-4min of gameplay.I counsel to make use of computer cooling pad.

One skinnyg I can say about this laptop is that "it just works". If I want to kind a letter, the keyboard ships; if I wish to video chat with my family and pals on Skype, the webcam and digital mic does no longer disappoint; every time I really feel the necessity for pace or to unleash the drive, the raw processing and images energy of this machine keeps me engaged within the gameplay.

The battery lifestyles on this monster is just no longer what I anticipated from a device with some of these specs. Acer has a few power administration tips up it sleeve that's still stunning me, particularly with the built-in optical drive.
